Terms of Service
Last updated 10 September 2026
The short version
- Globe Party is free. Play it, have fun, and don't spoil it for anyone else.
- It comes as it is. We will try to keep it running, but we can't promise it always will.
- Borders and names on the map are for the game. They are not a political statement.
Agreeing to these terms
In these terms, "Globe Party", "we" and "us" mean the people who run the game. By playing it, as a Discord Activity or in a web browser, you agree to these terms. When you play inside Discord, Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply too. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
The game
Globe Party is a free daily geography game. We may add, change, pause or remove features, rounds or the game itself at any time, and we do not have to keep any particular version available.
Playing fairly
In shared sessions other people are playing on the same board as you. So please don't:
- disrupt other players' games, or harass anyone you play with;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to play;
- attack, overload, probe or try to break the game or the servers it runs on;
- impersonate other players, or try to get at data that isn't yours;
- use the game for anything illegal or that breaks Discord's rules.
If someone breaks these rules, we may block them from the game. You can stop playing at any time, and you can remove Globe Party's access to your Discord account under User Settings → Authorized Apps.
Maps, borders and names
Country shapes, borders, names and facts are simplified for a game. Some are disputed, and some places are left out of play. Nothing on the map is a statement by us about the legal or political status of any country, territory or border.
Who owns what
The game's design, artwork and code belong to us. The map and country data come from the open sources credited below, under their own licences.
No warranty
Globe Party is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that your stats and streaks will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Globe Party, and our total liability to you for anything to do with the game is limited to what you paid to play it, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms.
